Club Membership

By invitation and is on the basis of representatives of each type of business, profession and institution to insure a cross section of community leadership.

Not exclusive, but it is selective in the type of members we seek.

Based on a classification system. This keeps the club balanced in membership. A classification system has been set up to limit the number of members any club can have from each business or profession. This procedure is not meant to exclude anyone from membership, but insures diversity.

Note: Classification is a word or phrase which most accurately describes the principal or recognized business or professional activity with which an active member is connected or that which covers his or her principal and recognized business or professional activity.

How To Join

You must meet the classification system requirements: 1) Must be proposed by a current club member. 2) Approval by membership is required. 3) Participate in a pre-membership orientation. 4) Initiation fee is $100.00.

Attendance

One of the most important aspects of Rotary. All club members must meet a 60% attendance requirement, at minimum, though perfect attendance is desirable. You can accomplish this by “making-up” meetings at other clubs, within 2 weeks before or after an absence.

Maintaining Membership

Pay your dues of $16 per week (can be paid Quarterly, Semi-Annually or Annually). Maintain your attendance by a minimum of 60%; do not miss 4 consecutive meetings; make up missed meetings; comply with high ethical standards.
